“ I heard about this place a few years ago because I like to know where all the karaoke bars are, but just finally visited following a friend's birthday party. I really enjoyed the vibe here. I sat at the bar, which is at the back of the restaurant in a separate room, and the way that the serving area on the bar is placed it ends up leaving like a little two stool area at the end of the bar, which is quirky and nice. There are booths and an old-fashioned take-a-ticket gizmo for getting your spot at a table if the place is full. The menu is fun and bartenders were really friendly, efficient, and overall just pretty cool people. I got the scotch old-fashioned which I thought was good, but I'd like to try some more of the drinks. Sadly, we learned that their karaoke has been discontinued since COVID days, so we all left before I got a chance to sit in the dining area and try the food. I hope they bring the karaoke back, but this is a vibin' enough place just to brood in a corner booth in the bar and do a little people watching. ”

This is basically a bar with a Chinese theme, with some classic Chinese-American dishes like General Tso's chicken and all that. You know the type. It's pretty solid food and a fun bar. We always have a good time. Cool atmosphere and a good vibe. We like it! ”

“ OVERALL: 9/10 (Yelp Converted Score: 4.5/5). Pricey but a fantastic vibe. I'll definitely come back at least one more time! My partner and I initially thought this place would just have a superficial Chinese facade, but the actual food (especially the honey garlic prawns) were decent! We dropped in at 9:30pm on a Thursday evening in August 2022, and were seated in the front booth area (which reminded me of a diner, but darker). 1) VARIETY/SELECTION: 9/10. Remember that this place is first and foremost a bar, and yet, my partner and I ordered food, as well. We ordered a caiparinha, slushy, and paloma to drink, and for food, we ordered the honey prawns, dumplings, and spare ribs. 2) FRESHNESS: 10/10. The thing that impressed both my partner and I was that the honey walnut prawns and the spare ribs were both delicious (we had a low bar, since this looked much more like a bar than a restaurant). The dumplings were decent as well, but the prawns definitely stood out as the "wow" dish for both of us. The drinks all tasted great in their own way, as well. 3) VALUE FOR MONEY: 9/10. the food dishes were (on average) $13/dish, before tax or tip. The drinks were $11/drink (on average); overall, after tax/tip, for two people, I paid ~$45/person. It's a bit more than you might pay for dinner, but given that we ordered 3 drinks and 3 dishes of food, I'd say it wasn't bad! 4) SERVICE: 8/10. As with any dimly-lit bar that is packed with people, table service is not going to be their strong suit. The food and drink did come out fast once we ordered, but I don't think anyone came by to take our order more than two times, so we had to be VERY sure of what we wanted, very quickly. 5) CONSISTENCY / FIRST IMPRESSION: 9/10. The vibe is definitely "oriental-feeling". For one, the ceiling was covered with red Chinese lanterns - I couldn't even tell if there was any ceiling behind those lanterns, there were so many of them! I remember coming back a few months later with some friends, and that time sitting in the back area (it's much more spacious once you get past the diner-looking booths) -- it felt like a different place altogether, even though it was just 30 feet away! ”

It's a good place thats unique to West Seattle and is 100% worth your time Vibe: - Capitol Hill with an older crowd - Dark and mildly Tiki Themed - Lively in the bar area, quieter in the "restaurant" area... Sit In the bar. Food: - Honey Walnut Shrimp - Order 2 of these, seriously. - BBQ Pork - Smokey, Sweet, and Juicy. Amongst the best I've had. - Chow mein - Skip this its just meh. Drinks: - Tiki esque and your standard bar drinks. Done well but nothing outstanding. ”
